Oxymel - Elderberry & Ginger

A traditional herb-based concentrate made with honey, apple cider vinegar, elderberry, echinacea root, ginger, and cinnamon bark. Warming and tangy-sweet. Stir into water, tea, or your favorite drink, or take it straight from the spoon.

Our elderberries are grown and wild-foraged by us, then prepared by hand in small batches. From harvesting the plants to the finished bottle, each batch takes around four to six weeks to make. It’s a slow, seasonal process guided by what nature provides, which means this oxymel may occasionally be out of stock while the next batch is being prepared.

Why “Oxymel”?

Oxymel is one of the oldest herbal preparations there is. Its name comes from the Greek words for sour (oxy) and honey (meli). It’s simply a way of infusing herbs into a blend of vinegar and honey: a method used for centuries to make plants a tasty, easy part of everyday life.

This is a concentrate, meant to be added to food and drink in small amounts.

How to Use

Add 1–2 teaspoons to water, tea, or another drink. Can also be used as a flavouring in food, for example in dressings.

Net volume: 100 ml

Storage: Store cool and dark. Refrigerate after opening.
Safety Information: Contains honey. Not suitable for children under 12 months.
People allergic to plants in the Asteraceae/Compositae family should avoid this product.
